Apprentice Machine Builder – Refrigeration
Job Description:
Work with senior fabricators to build proprietary machinery based on assembly drawings, and procedures, as well as verbal instructions. The primary work procedures include, steel component assembly, fabricating of copper tubing for refrigeration systems.

Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Required Skills & Abilities:
Even though this is an apprentice position certain basic skills and abilities are required.
- Ability to read tape measure and perform basic math
- Ability to use common hand
- Strong mechanical
- Ability to read basic production drawings/blueprints.
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
The following skills and abilities would be beneficial in filling the position.
- Ability to effectively perform mechanical assembly operations following the details of drawings, and assembly instructions for complex mechanical assembly.
- Understanding of refrigeration techniques and procedures.
- Understanding of pipefitter techniques and procedures in threaded.
- Understanding of pneumatics and associated symbols of components.
- Understanding of electrical circuits and wiring.
- Ability to bend and braise copper tubing.
- Maintaining effectiveness in a changing environment, assignments, responsibilities and/or priorities.
